Gary Brook  

A vastly experienced striker who came to Albion after a stint as player-manager at Gainsborough Trinity. Helped the Shaymen back into the Football League, proving a perfect foil for star striker Geoff Horsfield.

Suffered a little towards the end of that successful 1997/98 season, so was allowed to join Unibond League side Ossett Town during the summer. Scored for Ossett on his debut and shortly after became captain. Then appointed player-manager of the club following the previous manager's resignation.

He guided the club to promotion and has proved to be a popular and successful manager.

Has also played for Blackpool, Boston United, Frickley Athletic, Gainsborough Trinity, Halifax Town, Newport County, Notts County, Ossett Town and Scarborough.

Stephen Downes  

Born 12 November 1981 in Leeds, Downes started his football career at Ossett Albion, before moving to Grimsby Town in 2002. He now is now playing for Farsley Celtic, where he has scored 24 goals. A pipe fitter by trade, Downes has recently started taking penalties for Farsley Celtic, scoring against Aldershot and Ebbsfleet in the 2007–08 Conference National season.

He played as a midfielder for Nottingham Forest, Bristol Rovers, Huddersfield Town, Swansea City, Wrexham, Cambridge United, Preston North End, Leyton Orient, Kettering Town, Ilkeston Town & Boston United.

Rob Edwards  

Born February 23, 1970 in Manchester is a former professional footballer, who played as a defender or midfielder for Crewe Alexandra, Huddersfield Town and Chesterfield before retiring in 2005.
